System Administrator

Job Descriptions :

To be the contact point between the related departments (Business, Service Delivery Team, etc.) in the progression of all core server and storage requests (install, move, upgrade and decommission, storage capacity)
To facilitate the coordination of workload and involved in the demand workflow between all Service Delivery teams
To provide support to the business colleagues in ensuring that all priority requests are processed
To understand and strong knowledge of local data center capacity constraints and overall constraints of Service Delivery teams in ensuring accurate communication in managing the expectations of the business

To support the application portfolio locally and regionally

Singapore - Storage Engineer- Singapore

Storage Engineer- Singapore Responsibilities:

•Install all storage products and perform highly complex storage implementations such as data migration and file server consolidation. Able to work closely with internal departments as well as service partners to ensure a quality, successful implementation.
•Provide direct technical support for onsite service delivery, which encompasses corrective maintenance, installation, preventive maintenance and systems audits, and testing.
•Support Pre-Sales Consultants, Project Managers and Solutions Architects in developing Scopes of Work and Project Plans. Works closely with project team members and other departments to ensure successful project implementation.
•Prepare, maintain and submit activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures. Provide updates to case tracking system and/ or other technical applications for Storage implementation and Problem Reporting/Resolution.
•Educate customers on potential problems and resolutions. Stay up-to-date on technical specifications and hardware requirements of software products, including new and soon to be released products.

Required Experiences:
•At least 3-5 years' experience in implementation of Storage Solutions particularly EMC solutions.
•Mandatory knowledge and experience in several of the following areas: Storage subsystem architecture, Storage Area Network, Network Attached Storage, Backup and Recovery, Capacity planning/ application sizing, Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery, Unix, Linux, Windows 2000/2003, Systems Administration.
•Project implementation experience - focusing on infrastructure deployment, business continuity/disaster recovery, data migration, etc
•Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments. Preferably in a System Administration or Systems Integration background.
•Exposure to Microsoft Exchange/SQL Servers/Oracle Database/NAS will be advantageous
•Analytical ability.
