Credit Administration Manager Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Credit Administration, you will be part of a 5-member team to provide credit and loan administration support to the business.

Your responsibilities include:

Liaise with business/legal in review of loan/collateral documentation, agency agreements, sale & purchase agreements and loan transfer documentation (e.g. assignment agreements, participation agreements and trade confirmations) for setting up of facilities, payment mechanism and monitoring requirements, registration of documents in the systems
Review of the completeness and acceptability of the legal documents and ensuring that follow up actions are taken by the business.
Ensure loan related payments, e.g. retentions, are done in time.
Monitor facilities’ covenants.
Maintain and monitor collateral register including insurances and ensure adequate collateral coverage.
Register security records in the bank’s system
Safekeep original security documents
Prepare monthly reports (for eg: relating to monitoring of covenants monitoring of incomplete/missing/expiring legal agreements)
Complete sell-downs, including confirmation, settlement, payment and accounting entries.Liaise with business, loan agents, participants, counterparties regarding deal completion, loan
positions, cash distributions and fee settlement.
Ensure conditions precedents are fulfilled prior to facility booking and drawdown respectively.
Carry out loan administration activities such as rate fixing, setting up of facilities, loandrawdown, roll-overs, repayments, prepayments and deposits.
Handle customers’ account opening processes.
Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in loan & credit administration, particularly in loan booking, reviewing loan documentation for administration matters, account opening and credit monitoring.
Experience in handling shipping, transportation, infrastructure or real estate loans is preferred.

This position will manage all accounting activities and maintain complete set of accounts (including bank, accounts receivables, investments and general ledger) for the Branch as well as produce quarterly and annual returns/accounts in accordance to country and the company’s accounting policies.

- Update the monthly and quarterly investment schedules form the fund Managers data to produce timely branch’s investment results for consolidation purpose.

- Input technical and financial data into Peoplesoft and generate Trial Balance to update the quarterly returns (with supporting schedules) that would comply with country regulations and company’s consolidation accounting policies.

- Check/follow-up with underwriting department on unprocessed/pending closings to clear all cash receipts/payment that had already been settled by the brokers through their statements, for which there are no bookings in our system.

- Reconcile the Statement of Accounts from brokers/cedants so as to make/chase payments and prepare monthly credit control report.

-Perform general administration duties to ensure that documents are systematically filed and kept.

He/She will resolve any financial disputes in a diplomatic and professional manner and is expected to perform other related receivable functions. Your Role:

You will review daily P&L statements and responsibility includes verification of P&L and communication to management and traders on material fluctuations. You will understand revenue recognition issues relating to the business and verification of positions in accordance with operations. You will journalise trading and administration activities, month end accruals and ensure general ledger accurately reflects business activities. Review of balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations to ensure all items are supported and reporting major exceptions in a timely manner is vital.
