Singapore - Sr. Project Manager (Investment Bank)

Sr. Project Manager (Investment Bank) Description:

This role will report to the Global Head of Production Services. This is a highly visible role, with exposure at Managing Director level in IT and the business. As part of a flexible PMO team, there will be immediate opportunities to share best practices and contribute beyond the immediate scope of the role.

As Senior Programme Analyst/PMO, the candidate will need to have the stature to influence at senior levels in the organisation and ‘make things happen’ on the ground. The successful candidate must also have experience of working in an outsourced environment.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the success of our change programmes by applying disciplined project and programme management practices. The successful candidate will therefore need to demonstrate substantial exposure to major business change initiatives and be confident managing both at the detailed and ‘big picture’ levels.

Requirements:

• Higher level education (college or university degree)• Experience of Microsoft Office software tools essential• Project/Function financial management experience essential• Prior experience of producing (senior) stakeholder management presentations essential• Prior experience in a project/programme reporting environment with ability to interpret data for milestones /risks /issues etc. so as to identify and escalate areas of concern essential• Relevant PMO experience a strong advantage• Experience of formal project/programme methodologies (e.g. PMI, PRINCE 2) an advantage• Experience of Microsoft Project an advantage• Broad understanding of banking and IT operations processes an advantage• Understanding of project implementations, project structure and project lifecycle phases, and best practice standards and tools backed with some practical experience with project management an advantage• Must have demonstrable exposure to business project work in a technology-intensive environment, ideally in a management position• Must have experience of working in an outsourced environment, ideally in a vendor management capacity• Experience of establishing and/or operating Programme Management/Support Offices a strong advantage• Excellent written communication skills, particularly the ability to summarise complex information and present clearly to non-specialist audiences
