System Administrator

Job Descriptions :

To be the contact point between the related departments (Business, Service Delivery Team, etc.) in the progression of all core server and storage requests (install, move, upgrade and decommission, storage capacity)
To facilitate the coordination of workload and involved in the demand workflow between all Service Delivery teams
To provide support to the business colleagues in ensuring that all priority requests are processed
To understand and strong knowledge of local data center capacity constraints and overall constraints of Service Delivery teams in ensuring accurate communication in managing the expectations of the business
To regularly oversee and monitor all priority requests regionally using the defined reports to ensure requests are moving through the pipeline smoothly and fulfilled
To liaise with Regional Service colleagues and Service Delivery team and review all workload of priority requests and communicate the demands of the business in order to meet the demands
To assist in educating the business departments on the policies, protocols and procedures


Job Requirements :

Diploma/Degree in IT or related discipline
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar environment
Those with experience in running large technology based systems in the Financial Institution will be an advantage
Excellent knowledge and experience in various technology areas such as servers, networks, application distribution etc
Experience in working global environment and multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
Strong customer focus and proficiency in MS Office
Self-motivated and prepared to work independently on multiple requests simultaneously
Detail oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast paced global environment
Excellent communication and written skills
