Singapore - Technical Support Programmer

Technical Support Programmer Post Date: 13 Jun 09Brief Overview:

Provides technical support and programming services to AMX dealers and customers.


Essential Job Functions:

Provides technical support to Dealers via the telephone, e-mail, and on-site travel.
Assist customer with all aspects of system programming.
Understands complex concepts and relationships by analyzing problems from different points of view.
Applies broad knowledge and experience to address critical issues.
Inspire customer confidence through professional presence and self-confidence.
Document and track customer issues and resolutions.
All other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

A degree in computer science, programming, electronics, or similar field.
1 +- 3 years programming experience.
Strong experience in computer programming (C/C++, Visual C, HTML and SQL).
Excellent understanding of computers, operating systems, hardware, networking.
Automation/control experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and telephone communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Occasional regional and international travel may be required.
Experience with AMX product or other similar Control System products is desirable.
