Responsibilities
Develop and design storage architecture and solutions
Review and validate storage designs and ensure that the architecture can be implemented
Technical lead for project implementation including managing and coordinating the services to be delivered by partners
Review and ensure quality and that projects meet customer requirements
Install, configure, customise and tune storage products
Coach and mentor other system engineers and customers
Advise customers on storage implementations
Gather requirements from customers and project planning
Develop and maintain an in-depth product knowledge of storage solutions and develop methodologies and best practices
Post-sales support for problem escalation after office hours and weekends
Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant storage design and implementation experience and 8 years of overall IT experience
Self-starter and team player with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills
High levels of energy and drive, thrives under pressure with strong process orientation skills
Excellent technology background and skills in Data Management Solutions: Replication, Data Life Cycle, Archiving, Backup and High-Availability Mechanisms
Project experience with storage products preferably from SUN, HDS (TrueCopy, ShadowImage), EMC, NetBackup; and SAN and NAS solutions
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
MUST be Singapore citizens
