Responsibilities
Develop and design SUN Enterprise Server architecture and solutions
Review and validate server designs to ensure that they can be implemented
Technical lead for project implementation including managing and coordinating services to be delivered by partners
Review and ensure quality of projects and that they meet customer requirements
Install, configure, customise and tune server products
Coach and mentor other system engineers and customers
Advise customers on server implementation
Gather requirements from customers and project planning
Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge in servers and develop methodologies and best practices
Provide post-sales support for problem escalation after ofice hours and weekends
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant SUN Enterprise Server design and implementation experience
A good team player who is willing to share knowledge and expertise
Self-starter with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills
High level of energy and drive, thrives under pressure with strong process orientation skills
Excellent knowledge of and skills in System Management Solutions: logical domains, dynamic reconfiguration, Solaris 10 Zones and Container, Dtrace, ZFS file system
Experience with SUN Server products like M-series and T-series servers
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
MUST be Singapore citizens
