Job Function

Black Belts are action-oriented change agents, who are energetic and success-oriented individuals assigned to lead special projects and/or programs within the business unit. The Black Belt is responsible for implementation of the Six Sigma program and principles on assigned projects to minimize cost and improve efficiencies and has developed specific areas of excellence. The Black Belt is an accomplished teacher of the Six Sigma tools, an accomplished project leader in various functional areas, and an accomplished statistical user.

For the first two years, this Black Belt will be working with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Leaders to implement the S&OP process in Asia Pacific

Skills & Abilities

-- Prior experience in manufacturing or driving S&OP process is a distinct advantage

-- Able to mentor Green Belts on project management and leading a team

-- Able to communicate productivity results, challenges, and vision to leadership

-- Able to manage productivity pipelines and track productivity savings across multiple projects and/or programs (functional and/or geographical)

-- Strong business acumen. Drives improvements in business processes using the methodology

-- Proven success in change management, productivity improvement, and business process management

-- Demonstrated history of high performance and achievement

-- Strong facilitation and project management skills

-- Ability to lead project teams, within a matrix organization and team environment

Requirements

-- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technical discipline

-- Certified Green Belt with 5-7 years of working experience; OR Certified Black Belt (preferred)

-- Proven experience in Six Sigma projects completion

-- SAP experience (preferred)

-- Proficient in Microsoft Office

-- Knowledge of using MINITAB
