Singapore - Collection Executive

Collection Executive Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Customer Administration and Financial Services Manager, the Collections Executive will primarily perform collection functions and maintain the finance contracts. He/She will resolve any financial disputes in a diplomatic and professional manner and is expected to perform other related receivable functions. While carrying out the job, he/she will ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to.

The candidate is also required to perform administrative duties for the Collections Team in Singapore and other regional sites if necessary. Duties include making frequent outbound collection calls, managing the team’s email account, cancellation paperwork, letters, payoff quotes, collections batching, weekly and period end reporting.

Candidate Profile

Minimum 3 years’ experience in consumer finance collections
Persuasion and negotiation skills are essential
Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
Well-organised and has a keen eye for detail
Highly service-oriented and is an effective team player
Able to handle all matters in confidentiality
Must be able to communicate well in English.
Being able to read and speak Japanese is an added advantage.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
