Design new IT solutions to improve to meet users¡¦ requirement.
Working closely with the client, examine existing business models and flows of data, discuss their findings with the client, and design an appropriate improved IT solution.
Build software components and applications complying to application architecture based on a set of business requirements
Execute testing at different project phases
Document requirements and specifications
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science
3 - 5 year experience in software development using Java
Familiar with J2EE, EJB, JSP/Servlet
Familiar with XML and XML-related technologies like XSLT
Experience with a web application framework like Struts
Experience with an application server like WebLogic or Tomcat
Experience with a relational database, preferably Oracle
Unix scripting experience preferred
Sound understanding of system architecture issues like performance optimisation, profiling and design for reuse will be highly valued
Ability to work as a team and deliver solutions under pressure
