Singapore - Insurance Compliance Officer

Insurance Compliance Officer Post Date: 02 Feb 09
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct periodic independent compliance/operational audit checks and investigations, including customer complaints

Review and recommend improvements to procedures and coordinate follow-up actions

Evaluate and assist in drawing up guidelines on internal controls

Ensure compliance with both internal guidelines and external regulatory guidelines

Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the Compliance manual and registers


Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in relevant field

Minimum of at least 2 years experience in compliance/internal control in Insurance or Financial Services institution.

Meticulous and independent

Should have a knowledge of key regulations such as the Financial Advisers Act, Insurance Act and familiar with MAS legislation and regulatory requirements

Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills
