Singapore - Senior Finance Manager (Shared Service)

Senior Finance Manager (Shared Service) The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective operations of Finance Shared Service (FSS), which covers billing, accounts receivable (AR), fixed assets (FA), general accounting functions (including inter-company settlements) and treasury. He/she will lead a team of Finance staff to provide professional support to the Finance teams of Business Units (BU) and ensure availability of reliable and up-to-date information for the analysis and reporting requirements of BU and Group Finance. This position reports to the VP Finance (FSS).Responsibilities:. Assist VP Finance (FSS) to plan, co-ordinate, and oversee the departmental activities (AR, FA, GL and Treasury) and establish goals and operational priorities for the delivery of timely and effective service to BU and Group Finance. . Monitor the daily operations of the FSS and resolve operational issues on a timely basis. . Develop and maintain effective communications and excellent relationships with BU and Group Finance to ensure that their requirements are identified and consistently attained. . Ensure that internal controls as well as management directives and policies are effectively implemented. . Develop departmental policies and standard operating procedures (SOP). . Manage continuous improvement of processes and enhance efficiency of the FSS (e.g. elimination of manual of repetitive process via automation). . Participate in project implementation for systems related to FSS and ensure that systems design caters to FSS requirements. . Establish staff training and performance goals (KPIs). Coach and motivate staff to develop their potential in order to maintain a highly competent team. . Oversee the monthly assessment run and take charge of inter-company AR & AP reconciliation and elimination. . Manage banking relationships, coordinate all banking needs for the group and function as the system administrator of the cash management system. . Handle loan administration and ensure compliance with credit facility agreements. . Manage group cash flow, including short-term investments to ensure optimisation of cash on hand. . Review group financial risk exposure and manage hedging strategies. . Provide support to VP in financing and ad hoc projects. Requirements:. Bachelor degree in Accountancy, with at least 6 years of relevant experience. . Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. .
