INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE(STORAGE)
As the Inside Sales Rep (Networked Storage), this position is responsible for supporting the field sales team in the Networked Storage business unit.
The Inside Sales Rep will collaborate withthe Sales and Marketing Team in support of sales calls, events, promotion and lead generation activities
This position will also provide remote training and support to the Sales/Pre-sales team of business partners fron the Sales aspect of Networked Storage, such as solutioning, configuration, pricing and competitive intelligence.
Successful Inside Sales Rep will assist with RFPs and tender as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will posses the following:
Understand the technology, be able to configure sales quotation, quote and support the field sales team in their engagement with partners and end users.
Musthave extensive partner and customer engagement via phone and email and have the opportunity to move in field sales team if desired
Must have knowledge on Networked Storage Hardware and Software. Knowledge on the storage technology like SAN and NAS and application for Business Continuance, Disaster Recovery, Compliance and ILM is essential. Experience and Knowledge on interfacing with other ISV solution like Oracle database, Microsoft SQL, content management solution and eMail application is also valued.
Must have 3 to 5 years in an industry related role and have worked in support, system administration with exposure to marketing.
Knowledge and understanding of products, competitive offerings and market drivers, will be responsible for creation of quality, easy to understand papers and presentations.
This position requires strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and Product Management training desirable.
Excellent analytic troubleshooting, written and oral communication.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
