Tax Accountant

( Max $7500, 5 Days, Changi, MNC )

Requirements:

-- Degree holder in Accountancy or Law with specialization in Taxation or Chartered Accountant.

-- Min 4 years of experience in international corporate tax planning and compliance environment. with at least 2-3 years in major public accounting or law firm.

-- Exposure to regional direct tax and indirect tax issues.

Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Tax Accountant is responsible for ensuring the timely of tax returns for all legal entities in the 13 countries in Asia Pacific and manage positions taken in the tax returns. Attends and manage the tax assessments, tax audits, tax court hearings for all Small Package and Supply Chain Solutions entities. Negotiate with local tax authorities and work closely with external CPAs where required.

Key Accountabilities:

-- Providing practical tax advice on cross-border transactions, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, including indirect tax implications.

-- Managing transfer pricing strategy and work with Corporate on transfer pricing documentation.

-- Addressing tax issues associated with routine operational matters.

-- Working closely with external tax advisors to obtain appropriate advice on the tax implications of transactions, negotiate with local tax authorities and obtain advance ruling where applicable.

-- Assisting in the coordination and oversight of tax compliance and tax accounting to ensure the timely filing of complete tax returns of South Asia legal entities and advise and manage positions taken in the tax returns, where applicable.

-- Managing the tax audit by local authorities in the region, including reviewing correspondence with tax offices.

-- Managing the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, FIN 48 reporting.

-- Advising on the impact of new tax law changes on the Company’s operations.

Senior / Accountant

( $5300, 5 Days with Transport, Jurong, Experience in Audit Firm/Manufacturing Environment )

Back up for Group Finance Manager - Company Secretarial matters, accounts consolidation
Requirements:

Degree from a good university in Accountancy/ Finance, ACCA or a qualified CPA
Minimum 5 years relevant work accounting and auditing experience working in the accounting firms and/ manufacturing environment is desired
Knowledge of SAP systems will be an added advantage
Some experience (3 years or more) in leading and managing a team of staff is preferred
Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements. Well verse in the latest development of FRS


Senior / Accountant

( Max $5000, 5 Days, Tiong Bahru, Luxury Products )

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions to ensure proper accountability of expenditure, including credit control, tax and cash management.
Oversee cost estimates, budgetary control, financial plans, forecasts, and financial statements as well as provide support to business groups to resolve financial issues.
Handle all GST and related corporate tax matters.
Liaise with external auditors on all audit/ accounting issues as well as ensure that the Company meets and complies with all accounting, tax, legislative and regulative requirement.
Analyze accounting data and explaining the variances against budgets, forecasts and business plans.
Prepare and analyze financial impact on foreign currency hedging.
Responsible for consolidation of group accounts.
Actively monitor the financial performance of the business units using the appropriate reporting tools.
Ensure that the generation of financial and management data, such as costs are compiled accurately, timely and duly allocated among the business units.
Support of the group-wide annual planning and budgeting process
Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures with strong internal controls and measures, achieving accounting and operational efficiencies.
Lead process improvement efforts for the finance division.
Lead or manage special projects/ assignments from time to time.
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy
At least 3 years of working experience in financial reporting role or managing full sets of accounts.
Familiar with accounting, tax and statutory reporting requirements

Senior / Accountants

Requirements:

Min Degree in Accountancy
Must be a qualified accountant with at least 3years accounting experiences and/ or audit experiences gained from public accounting firms of which 2years in a supervisory role
Must possess working knowledge on local and US GAAP with hands on experiences in implementing internal accounting control
Handles routine accounting problems

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities :

Reviewing and approving expenses and income
Ensure prompt and timely closing of accounts
Go through contracts and agreements
Review and streamline work process with Planning Team
Study and work on system improvement and enhancement
Assist in setting of Oracle Financials system procedures and guidelines, including training of accounting staff


Requirements :

-- Degree in Accounting Discipline with 4-5 years of relevant working experiences in a highly computerized and dynamic environment

-- Required to travel to overseas occasionally

-- Sound knowledge of financial accounting standards, taxation and legislations preferred

-- Sound knowledge of Accounting Application, experience in Oracle preferred

-- Self-motivation with demonstrated leadership, initiative and teamwork skills

-- Effective interpersonal skills, good analytical skill and meticulous with an eye for details

-- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure within tight deadlines

The candidates are able to work in alternate between 2 working locations in Central and Town.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the financial management of the Company and its subsidiaries
Consolidate group financial statements and prepare timely financial statements for senior management’s review
Formulate, review and implement internal accounting policies, controls and procedures such as cash flow management, costing, inventory valuation and payments
Work with senior management in the coordination and development of financial budgets and analysis of profitability of operations

Responsibilities:

Responsible for full set of accounts, ensuring timely month-end closing and preparation of financial statements, including review and liaise with operations on their submission
In-charge of Accounts Receivables and Credit Management, including reporting, highlighting and preparation of reports to Management
Responsible for the monthly financial and year-end audit schedules
Responsible for preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns to IRAS
Responsible for weekly cash reports and monthly cash flow projection and requirements
Responsible for maintaining proper records, updates and reporting of contracts, banker guarantees and insurances
Responsible for the upkeep of the accounting system
Assist to review and enforce/ implement existing/ new financial procedures and internal controls to enhance both financial and operational work flows
Assist in company secretarial and tax matters, including liaising with relevant parties

Requirements:
