Responsibilities
The VP - Finance (Operations) manages the back office operations; completes operational requirements; meets operational standards; ensures compliance with internal controls; meets cash requirements; complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements; prepares audit reports; maintains records; develops systems; prepares budget; and manages staff.
RequirementsHe is/hasSenior management experience. Skills include strategic planning, influencing others, and supporting organizational change.
Capable of staffing, structuring, and maintaining a productive team of highly skilled employees.
Experience working with relational databases, statistical programs, and other tools to compile and interpret quantitative data. Strong ability to analyze pertinent statistical data and recommend solutions.
Fluent at using database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare various versions of complex statistical and written summary reports for different levels of management.
Proficient at completing audits, summarizing findings, and designing audit tests.
Experience with electronic banking payments systems.
Proficient at establishing sound budget goals and objectives.
Strong familiarity with issues of compliance for state and federal regulations.
Ability to create reports using SQL and reporting tools.
First degree in a finance or related discipline.
Experience with either SAP or Oracle Financials is an advantage.
