General Trust Manager - 19327 - FD General Management:

~ Carry out a review of processes and procedures and put in place steps to help the team fulfil their roles and

comply with all legal requirements.

~ Manage the team, ensuring that all decision making is properly documented and policies and procedures

are followed

~ Build confidence within the team to enhance performance and efficiency

~ Take control of incoming client instructions and ensure work is allocated and dealt with efficiently and

appropriately

Client Accounting:

~ Responsibility for maintaining cash books

~ Prepare year-end/quarterly accounts for client companies; liaise with clients/client representatives as necessary

~ Comply with legislation of country of incorporation

Accounting:

~ Review business functions and corporate governance procedures to enhance the business reporting strategy

~ Organise the business; appoint new staff (with approval of group MD) as necessary to prepare the business for

steady and sustained growth.

~ Work with HR to establish training and development plans to encourage staff development, define performance

targets, milestones and regular performance reviews

~ Ensure procedures are in place for efficient and accurate billing

Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:

~ Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA/CIMA)

~ Experienced senior-level accountant

~ ICSA

~ STEP membership would be an advantage

~ Small company experience an advantage

~ Hands-on approach

~ Self-motivated and good team player

~ Strong managerial skills

~ Excellent communication skills

~ Demonstrable ability to form strong relationships with external clients/customers

~ Highly organised with an eye for detail

~ Flexible and ready to meet varied challenges and opportunities

~ Capable of understanding and enhancing complex structures

~ Able to enjoy day-to-day interaction within a small company environment
