Singapore - AVP, Corporate Management, Asset Allocation

AVP, Corporate Management, Asset Allocation Our client is one of the largest banks in the region. They have recently set up a new corporate unit called Corporate Management which is tasked to perform strategic allocation of the bank's proprietary capital. They are looking to expand this unit by bringing ina dynamic individual. The broad scope of responsibility includes:

1. Monitor and help analyse performance of their investment portfolios across a wide range of asset classes for periodic reporting to Senior Management team;

2. Assist in macro trend analysis and preparation of periodic investment market updates; and

3. Provide portfolio analytics support for periodic strategic/tactical asset allocation and/or related reviews.

The candidate should be aqualified accountant (CPA or equivalent) with at least 6 years' experience in the finance (preferably investment management) industry. Those with CFA or equivalent qualifications will be preferred. He/She should be a team-player, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of treasury operations and a knowledge of various investment & derivative asset classes, supported by strong portfolio analytics and advanced excel & VBA skills.
