In this exciting role, you will lead the Professional Service m(PS) practice within South Asia Pacific and provides thought leadership to the region, helping to articulate and deploy the strategy as it relates to PS within the confines of the area.  The role will develop the business plan and offers support and guidance to the PS Managers regarding sales support and resources (people, tools, methodologies and processes).  The role will drive consistent processes and practices that support continuous growth and profitability. 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Building the business plan for the region, providing focus in the development of capabilities, including recruiting, investment decisions, pricing, and coaching others in professional development. 
Providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise to the organization in the area of professional services
Supporting offer guidance to PS Managers in Sales support (bid/no-bid decisions and project management)
Ensuring advocated tools, methodologies and processes are deployed and consistently used within the teams
Ensuring PS consultants are trained and educated to deliver the support required and are utilized efficiently and within industry metrics
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key customers, industry partners, and external organizations
Leadership for career planning & pathing, creating and maintaining communities of interest among   PS Managers /Consultants.
Support and facilitate a work environment that enables us to recruit, develop and retain top talent as a means to drive revenue growth and increased profitability
 

Essential Requirements

 

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering or IT
Proven experience in managing successful business / healthy P&L supported by a successful history of accomplishment.
Hands on management experience in a number of business disciplines with proven ability to develop and integrate plans
Strong communications and presentation skills
At least 10 years of general management experience.
Excellent leadership in managing and motivating the matrix resource environment
Analytical to customer needs
Excellent communication with clients' senior management team and internal business units
Ability to operate effectively in complex environments
Excellent coordination and organizing skills in building schedules to accommodate geographically dispersed teams
Train and lead the capture team in developing and executing competitive strategies - technical, management, personnel, and price
Ability to travel in the South Asia Pacific region to meet the business or customer requirements
