(System Quality Assurance)

Responsibilities:
Work closely with R&D to determine/predict component and system life using tools such as FMEA,DOE,RCA to ensure excellent reliability and extended operating life of the instrument
Develop subassembly/system level reliability test plans (including sample size, test time, measurement, software user interface) to achieve system reliability and meet specifications
Determine acceleration factors (eg: usage rate or stress factors) of critical subassemblies and system
Determine MTBF of critical subassemblies and system that leads to correlation with field return failure rates
Coordinate testing and work with external test-house to conduct reliability test when necessary (eg: HALT/HASS)
Analyse failure data and furnish reliability test report
Support any sustaining activities in relation to reliability planning/conduct testings
Liaise with Product Engineers (EE/ME/SW) to engage contractor to fabricate test fixtures, develop electrical schematics of the test fixture and develop measurement software with automatic failure report and data logging
Work with cross functional team eg: Marketing to understand customer usage, with field engineers to solicit field failure rates information
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent. Full-Time positions available.
Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing/equipment maintenance exposure
Good knowledge of mechanical/electrical system testing
Good fundamentals required in EMI/EMC aspects
Familiar with ISO13485, QSR requirements
Knowledge of C/C++, Labview would be an added advantage
Knowledge of environmental testing/life science equipments
