Regional Vice President - Direct Marketing Post Date: 09 May 09Regional Vice President of Marketing leads a team of Direct Marketing professionals to manage Direct Response, and CRM activities to reach strategic and operating goals in the country / region

RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrated Marketing StrategyLead and Direct Programs which have a cross-channel marketing impact including Telesales, Direct Mail, Ecommerce, Telemarketing and Customer Centres Database Marketing

Advertising / BrandingWorking closely with Advertising and Branding, provide oversight for all advertising, direct response, promotions and branding activity for the company

Direct Response (Offline)Develop targeted campaigns and Direct Response programs to reach the targets working with Sponsors, Retailers, Telecomm and other Sponsors
Manage all channels, including, Direct Mail, Inserts, Warm Transfer from Customer Service, Welcome letter, Fulfilment package, Renewal letter, Member get member, Statement Msg, Voice Blast, Embedded in Card Application, OBTM, IBTM, DRTV, Personal Inquiry, POS check mark (on box or receipt), etc.

Direct Response (Online)Strategize and develops Internet marketing campaigns to drive customer/consumer to PL Insurance website through online marketing. Develops and implements campaigns to reduce cost and increase customers
Interfaces with 3rd party partner/Sponsor marketing groups to find joint marketing opportunities and new marketing opportunities. Partners with other eCommerce groups on cross-promotional projects
Assesses technology needs and Internet site functionality to maximize customer satisfaction and relationship with Insurance Services
Manages the online user experience, and executes programs to drive receivables through new account origination and current customer relationship extension.
Manage all internet channels, Sponsor email, Purchased Triggered Email, Sponsor Banners, Broad market Email, Viral, Publishers, Remarketing, Affiliates, Directories, OLA Display, Search Organic and Paid, eNews letters, eConfirmations, Logouts, Rich HTML banners, Email to web visitors, Social Media, Upsell / xsell Email, in-product marketing, embedded links

Develop PL Insurance Website and brings Auto, Property and Plus products online
Customer Asset / Value Management / CRM
Product Development Work closely with Product to identify segment needs, key drivers of satisfaction and value, product preferences

Program Implementation Ensure all strategies are implemented across multiple distribution channels
Manage yield/loss studies, attrition studies, target segment qualitative and quantitative research, new product concept development and value proposition research

QUALIFICATIONS

Financial Industry Background in Personal Lines insurance business a plus
Knowledge or experience in the International Financial Industry

Marketing KnowledgeExperience with database marketing, data mining, segmentation
Cross-channel experience - Direct Response, telesales, telemarketing, platform, direct mail, Internet/Ecommerce with a track record of implementing successful campaigns through these channels.
Knowledge and experience in Market research
Experience with value-proposition and product development
Measurement focus. Bottom-line, results orientation

Ability to effectively lead and provide clear direction to outside agencies, direct reports, peers and cross-functional teams
Ability to develop and motivate associates in an internationally expanding organization

Ability to build and lead a strong CRM-focused marketing team which takes will take appropriate risks to drive growth and meet results
Experience in a “start-up” or entrepreneurial organization a plus
