Assist senior management in translating corporate business strategy and Enterprise Architecture into blueprint for data architect under the company's initiatives, including roadmap, principles, policies, standards and governance.
Job Responsibilities:
Translate Enterprise Architecture principles into strategic data architecture principles for the company
Set up , document and maintain a data architecture, which together with the application and technology architectures, will ensure alignment for the total enterprise architecture with business strategy
Represent the data architecture perspective within the Architecture Review Group's reviews
Work with domain stakeholders to develop XML-based canonical data model to support data integration for applications
Determine how to fit varied business needs into a cohesive architected solution
Educate senior business representatives in best practises for data quality and work with them to achieve realistic goals and data initiatives
Lead the development of enterprise-wide conceptual and logical data models
Job Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent, Masters an advantage
At least 8-10 years experience in the area of enterprise IT, with focus on data management
Completed at least two full data architecture projects
Proven expertise with data modeling, database design and data management techniques (Data warehousing, Data mining, ETL)
Experience with one or more data modeling tools
Familiar with SOQ, BPM and their data requirements
Proven technical leadership abilities
Experience working with external and consulting vendors
Strong verbal and communication skills
