Singapore - Investment Manager (Public Equity)

Investment Manager (Public Equity) Post Date: 09 Apr 09Job Responsibilities:

1. To perform bottom-up analysis on the markets assigned to the person:-

a) To review the investment universe and prepare a core list of stocks suitable for investment by the company.

b) To prepare research reports on companies we intend to or have invested for the company.

c) To discuss and review the micro and macro-economic backdrop of the Asian market assigned.

2. To perform top-down analysis on the assigned Asian market coverage and major developed economies. This includes assessing both the economic and financial market dynamics of the markets.

3. To perform investment administrative functions:-

a) Ensuring all portfolios adhere to investment objectives and risk limits.

b) To assist in reviewing and improving the equity investment process regularly.

4 To assist in preparing ad-hoc investment reports for senior management and board of directors.

5. To support marketing efforts on the Investment products.

Requirements:

1. University degree. Post-graduate degree or CFA charter holder preferred.

2. 5 to 10 years portfolio management experience in the Asian equity market.

3. A thorough understanding of the Asian markets.

4. Strong analytical skills and able to think independently.

5. Be resourceful and demonstrates initiative.

6. Good interpersonal skills.

7. Must be a team player.

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
