The Client
Our client is a global and diversified leader in the reinsurance business and is positioned as a preferred partner in the risk transfer industry.
The Position
Based in Singapore, you will focus on large corporate risks where you will underwrite Casualty business and design timely insurance solutions. You will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships (brokers and corporations), with a view to enlarging business opportunities. You will manage and participate in the underwriting process for all new business, and to originate and develop business for specific accounts, brokers and/or countries. You will also undertake technical assessments, pricing and underwriting of Casualty business, and manage the timely and accurate preparation of client documentation.
The Candidates
Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in developing and underwriting Casualty corporate risks.
Extensive experience in underwriting of Casualty classes of Insurance
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Knowledge of management liability contracts and terms and conditions
Excellent verbal, written, presentation skills required
Excellent sales and marketing skills required
Strong organizational and self management skills required
Market connections/demonstrated knowledge of the global Casualty and broker markets
Fluent in English and an Asian language would be advantageous
