Singapore - Client Portfolio Manager

Client Portfolio Manager Post Date: 30 Jan 09Responsibilities:
Responsible for market development and relationship management of the portfolio of clients assigned

Develop and execute conceptual design of marketing activities and product strategies for markets and client segment

Regular analysis and appraisal of markets, competitors and portfolio of clients as well as cross-selling of business development opportunities for potential, new and existing group of clients

Plan volume of business as well as of yield for its portfolio of clients

Collaboration with technical departments (eg. underwriting, innovative solutions, claims etc) to plan and allocate resources to achieve objectives for its portfolio of clients

In line with the responsibilities of the position, regional travel is required


Requirements:
University Degree holder or similar other educational background

Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting as well as having a background in primary insurance/reinsurance and non-traditional products

Treaty reinsurance experience will be a distinct advantage

Sound knowledge of business management, accounting and marketing

Excellent client relationship management and quantitative analysis skills

Excellent command of English in both written and verbal communications

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with a high level of personal motivation and strong team work
