Singapore - Bank Channel Manager

Our client is one of the top life insurers in Singapore with a long history locally. They have an established operation in Singapore and across the region. Globally, the parent company has a dominant presence and a premier player in the industry.

A search is now on for a Bank Channel Manager. The individual will build, support and strengthen Bank Channel relationships with the following duties:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with Bank partners to achieve sales targets
• Provide advice and support on existing products and services to bank partners
• Handle and respond to queries from Banks / financial institutions
• Attend to existing bank partners on ad-hoc queries and needs
• Overall responsibility for product training and marketing materials to support our banking partner needs
• Overall responsibility for organizing and coordinating product training workshops and sales functions with bank partners
• Lead and develop the Bank Channel Sales team.
• Implement activity mgt and sales / retention tracking and monitoring
• Design and undertake training programs to develop bank sales capability and create a positive, performance driven culture while supporting firm's values
• In conjunction with Partnership Distribution Marketing and Distribution Support team - design, implement and monitor sales incentive and promotional campaigns for bank partners
• Complete an annual Bank channel marketing plan and quarterly action plans
• Gather reliable source of industry information and analysis, including competitor's activities and information.

You should have a Degree with 8 years of experience in the Banking / Financial Industry. You have a comprehensive and strong technical knowledge of the banking and insurance industry and the respective products related to insurance, investment and wealth management. You have a good knowledge of bank processes and industry trends. With good strategic and negotiation skills, you have excellent communication ability, and are able to deal with internal and external parties effectively.
