Singapore - Admin Assistant (Finance)

Admin Assistant (Finance) Post Date: 16 Jan 09Job Responsibilities:

Checking of proposals submitted
Creating client maintenance file and bank records, as and when necessary
Assessing cheque payments for proper allocation to proposal application
Performing data entry into AS400 system
Verifying from WorldCheck for compliance to AML requirements
Performing admin duties such as updating control listing for passed documents, sorting, barcode pasting for incoming and outgoing mails, faxes, courier by-hand documents.
Job Requirements:

Have at least 2 years working experience relevant to the life insurance industry
Min GCE ‘O” Level/ Diploma with at least 2-3 yrs of admin/relevant experience.
Insurance certification such as CLI, HI, ILP or LOMA will be an added advantage
Able to work as a team and good working attitude
Bilingual in English and Mandarin
Working knowledge of AS400 and ever worked in New Business Dept in Insurance trade will be an added advantage
With accounting background/experiences are welcome
Proficient in computer software +- e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
