KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical advice to facultative property underwriters about risk quality, loss estimates, capacity allocation and loss prevention measures of given large risk industrial accounts
Carry out-on-site risk inspections and operations reviews on behalf of underwriting/marketing units
Support local facultative property underwriting by assuming role as an account engineer for selected accounts
Support global Risk Engineering Services team in dedicated core industries
REQUIREMENTS:
- - 5 ¨C 10 years experience in risk engineering ideally with local loss prevention services provider
Good knowledge of loss prevention/fire protection standards
Minimum Bachelor¡¯s degree in chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering
Sound loss prevention experience and knowledge ideally in following industry segments: metal pulp & paper and power, OPC
Good knowledge of underwriting processes and (re)insurance industry
Good presentation skills
Excellent command of English and knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To support the business plan of Industrial Risk Insurer, Asia Pacific in Asia by assuming responsibility for developing and managing client relationships (brokers and corporate) and by underwriting Casualty risks according to IRI¡¯s appetite and philosophy
REQUIREMENTS:
- - Minimum 3 years experience in developing and underwriting Casualty corporate risks
Knowledge of global Casualty and broker markets and their trends
Fellowship (AII) or equivalent
Extensive experience in underwriting of Casualty classes of Insurance
Ability to develop and maintain profitable client relationships
Demonstrate provision and implementation of underwriting solutions
Sound knowledge of insurance products would be well considered
Client focused with strong marketing skills
Able to communicate and professionally interact with people from different levels/locations of the organization
Well organized/strong time management skills
Must be fluent in English
An ability to speak Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese or South East Asian languages would be greatly beneficial
