NOTE:

ROLE
1)Systems administration of Unix (Solaris, HPUX, Linux, AIX etc) and Windows (2000, 2003) servers in local and remote Network Management Data Centers.
2)Unix Shell and / or Perl scripting as required.
3)Administration of Systems and Network Management Applications (HP Openview suite, Cisco ACS, BMC Patrol, Sun Management Center, CheckPoint NG, EMC SMARTS InCharge) and OSS applications in a network environment.
4)Support the development of new service offers with enhancements to platform components.
5)Provide training on relevant technology/product areas to internal teams.
6)Pre and post implementation documentation of architecture, implementation and inventory details for solutions implemented.
7)Own problem/assignment through to resolution/completion, interface with global teams and ensure closure (this will be one of the performance metrics for this role).
8)Could be required to participate in client meetings & presentations.
REQUIREMENTS
NOT all the following technical skills / experience are required but some are a must. For each of these technical skills / experience, please state -
(A)Level of proficiency (Advanced, Intermediate etc.);
(B)Number of years of work experience; and
(C)When the experience / technical skill was acquired / last used (using it in current job, last used 2 years ago etc.):
Windows (2000, 2003) servers;
Unix Systems Administration (please state which version - Solaris, HPUX, Linux, AIX etc.);
Unix Shell and Perl scripting;
Network Management Applications (please state which application - HP Openview suite, Cisco ACS, BMC Patrol, Sun Management Center, EMC SMARTS InCharge);
Network Security / CheckPoint NG (please state vendor type used);
Working knowledge of Cisco's range of Internetworking (Routers, LAN/WAN Switches);
RDBMS knowledge;
OSS applications.
