Assistant Accountant - Financial Accounting
Job Description
*Ensure that accounting/financial records are properly maintained and information is correct and delivered on atimely manner to management for strategic decision making.* Ensure the accounting records are kept in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards and other statutoryrequirements.*Assist in the voyage closing for revenue, and review revenue by comparing actual against accrual to ensure completeness, high accuracy, and provide variance explanation (if any).* Assist in reviewing agency submission of financial statements, General Statement of Accounts and/or Corp AR Remittances.* Liaise with external auditors for quarterly/year-end audit and tax agent for filing of corporate income tax.* Review Detention/demurrage charges submitted in Boxman, Acos, and ARS.* Assist in system administrator works if requires.Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of related working experience.* Degree in Accounting from a recognised University or professional exam graduate / ACCA member is also acceptable.* Experience in group consolidation preferred.
