Key Functions:
Promote a high-performing compliance culture within the Singapore business including other support function;
Assist in the Implementation of the 2nd line of assurance capability for both Operational Risk & Compliance activities including the implementation of relevant risk policies and tools in accordance with Asia and/or Group policies and standards;
Assist in the Implementation of best practice operational risk strategies, policies and procedures;
Prepare robust periodic and ad hoc operational risk and compliance reporting to the various stakeholders as required;
Undertake process & controls based reviews to ensure key operational risks are identified and appropriate mitigants put in place. Ensure gaps and/or weaknesses are closed out in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
Degree holder in financial, business or other related undergraduate degree.
Minimum of 2 years risk management or compliance experience or experience audit / business professional with line management / operations experience and relevant exposure to risk management, obtained within a banking environment
Dynamic, highly-committed and able to multi task
Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skill, and ability to work independently
Strong knowledge of Retail, Wholesale and Wealth Management processess and procedures
Knowledge or experience in Priority or Private Banking will be an advantage
