Singapore - LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Reporting to the Regional Manager, Zimmer Institute, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and coordination of surgical skills training workshops in Asia Pacific region including setup and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipments, positioning of cadavers, management of consumables and ensure the workshops/trainings adhere to laboratory protocols/procedures.

The desired candidate should possess:

-- GCE ‘O’ level or NITEC in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) or Engineering

-- Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in medical, laboratory or related field

-- Experience in cadaver training or nursing background in healthcare system and laboratory will be an added advantage

-- Willing to travel extensively and work outside of normal business hours

-- Able to handle heavy equipments, lab specimens and simple repairs/maintenance work on instruments
