Our client is a well established family of commodity trading companies transacting in the global commodity markets. Due to its expanding business in this region, it is now looking to fill the L/C Manager role.
In this role, you review and write the company's and/or counterparty contracts for which documentary or standby L/Cs are required to be issued. You will review and write documentary letter of credits, standby letters of credit covering the sales of commodities. In addition, you will check the charge calculations from banks, and assist operations by sending/checking shipping docs in cancellations of LOIs.
To qualify, you should possess 5 to 10 years of hands-on LC experience gained in a commodity trading or banking environment. You are also a strong communicator who is independent and assertive when required.
