New Staff will work on support and implementation of standard Transversal applications for Asia site (Singapore / Hong Kong). The field of operation will be both technical and functional. Candidate will acquire there a good general knowledge of Private Banking practice and technical architecture.
Functional aspect:
Support all users of the Private Bank on various applications:
Central Security Masterfile (including daily pricing)
Intranet and Internet applications
Wealth Management application
Printing and Archiving applications
Market Data systems (Reuters, Bloomberg, TraderForce)
Nostro and Custodian Reconciliation
Custodian Portals (eg. CDP, Creation OnLine, DBDirect)
Main task are
To support users on ad-hoc queries
Organise Training / UAT for new modules to be deployed
Validate new system feature in line with business requirements
Actively participate in the bank's DR and BCP
Technical aspects:
Multi-Platform environment (Windows, Unix, AS/400)
Oracle, MS/SQL, InterBase Database Engine
Small developments (Unix scripts, MS-DOS Batch, Client/Server applications, Web Pages)
Installation and maintenance of applications on various servers
Work with Network team on setup & maintenance of Firewall Rules
Work with various vendors for 3rd-party applications & Market Data
Requirements:
Candidate must have a long term commitment, be able to work authonomiously within a team and have a good learning capacity in order to quickly catch knowledge of Private Banking practice. Good general knowledge of financial products.
Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, InterBase), UNIX shell and Window scripting.
Good knowledge of Client/Server development tools (eg. Delphi), Web development languages (eg. Cold Fusion, ASP)
Experience with Reuters, Bloomberg, SWIFT, Oracle Forms, IntelliMatch would be an advantage
Location:
Position will be located in Singapore. Some occasional travel may be required.
