Responsibilities:
Participate in the evaluation, testing, and troubleshooting of Company instrumentation and software for conformity to product specifications.
Develop, write and execute test cases designed to confirm the functionality of Company HPLC and UPLC systems and Data Systems software.
Provide feedback on software UI for usability and consistency
Observe undesirable behavior(s) encountered by a typical user, characterize behavior and translate into a written defect report, work with the developer to reproduce the problem
Verify that pass/fail results obtained from the use of the automated qualification are valid for a given system
Generate and interpret data to set pass/fail specifications for OQ/PQ and System Qualification tests for all supported systems
Determine temporary workarounds to continue progress while defects are resolved
Qualify alternate designs through comparative testing of product
Requirements:
B.S . in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Laboratory hands on experience, including HPLC and Chromatography Data Systems is required.
Gas Chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry experience is a plus.
Networking, server administration, and Oracle database experience is a plus.
Experience with ISO9000/GLP software validation, and/or the requirements of FDA regulated industries are strongly desired.
