Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting theGroup Tax Controllerin the areas of tax compliance &advisory, transfer pricing.You are required to prepare, review and file tax return for countries in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, tax provisioning, deferred tax accounting, tax reporting and conduct ETR analysis. You are required to perform on-going review of tax compliance processes to ensureappropriate and timelyaccounting for taxes,timely identification oftaxrisks& opportunities
In addition, you are to participate in tax health checks and assist in the handling of tax authorities queries and audits, where appropriate and assist in general tax advices (corporate & indirect taxes), project execution and coordination, tax research work and establish best practices. This job provides opportunity to support the Group businesses in the full spectrum of tax support.
Requirements
-- Degree / equivalent in Accountancy or Finance
-- 8 yearsof tax experience, commercial experience for MNC is an advantage
-- Good knowledge of tax and accounting concepts, analytical and good in numbers
-- Ability to read Chinese is preferred
-- Matured, positive attitude, an independent and team worker, a problem solver
-- Must have good working knowledge of Excel, MS office applications
-- Willingness and flexibility to do small amount of travel
-- Ability to be dynamic, multi-task, and resourcefully meet tight deadlines
