Technology Risk and Control Analyst Post Date: 13 Jun 09Our client is a major global banking group. It is currently seeking a Technology Risk and Control Analyst to:
-- Provide governance and guidance to ensure technology compliance with Group and local risk and control policies, standards, frameworks and procedures.
-- Report on the performance of technology in achieving effective management of risks and controls.
-- Proactively oversee management of technology risk and control activities toensure analysis and reporting of risks.
-- Drive improvements in technology risk awareness and risk management capabilities.
-- Ensuring appropriate methods and tools are used across technology for all risk and control activities.
To be considered for this position you will need to:
-- Have comprehensive knowledge of technology risk, business area risk and risk management tools and techniques
-- Have knowledge of key areas in technology risk including security, continuity, resilience and ITinfrastructure.
-- Understand regulatory impacts upon technology such as Basel II and Sarbanes-Oxley.
-- Have gained experience at implementing or managing function-wide risk and control management processes and tools, actively identifying and mitigating risks.
-- Demonstrate end-to-end understanding ofbusiness / ITprocesses.
-- Have good knowledge of partnership risk management approach with 3rd party suppliers including off-shore operations.
-- Specialist IT Risk Managementqualification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, IRM or equivalent.
