Roles:
- Carrying out problem investigation, troubleshooting of problems in mission critical environment, and ensuring it leads to resolution
- escalation of problems to level 3 and coordination of problem escalation
- Suggesting improvements to permanently address the issues
- Liaising with development teams for permanent fixes
- Undertake Incident and problem management as part of the day to day work
- Assist team lead in producing management reports
Skills required:
- Computer Science or IT related Degree
- at least4 -6 years of application support experience in a global environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong Database (Oracle, Sybase) with advanced knowledge in PL/SQL, stored procedures.
- Prior experience in troubleshooting as well as tuning application is a plus
- Experience with Informatica is a plus
- Experience on the following Unix, and shell script
- Experience on the following Ctrl M or autosys a plus
- Willing to work on 3 shifts
Skills Preferred:
- Prior experience working in banking industry
