The Insurance Executive will attend customer's policy enquires and process insurance claims with excellent customer service and professional manner. He/she will report to the team leader and work independently to improve efficiency of claim processes and ensure customer loyalty.
Key responsibility includes:
Process all incoming claims
Adjudication of claims including liaising with legal advisors, medical institutions, relevant government bodies, claimants, policyholders and other insurers to determine validity of claims and liability of policy
Reviews and authorizes claims within pre-established limits.
Assist Team Leader with investigation of complex/high value claims for recommendation to the Claims Committee
Ensures claims processing documentation in system and hard files is completed accurately within the specific SLA and meets compliance requirements
Handle policy holder's enquiry on policy sales, coverage & claim matters.
Participates in service recovery where required
Assist Team Leader to review and standardize claims practice and strengthen claims control
Requirement
Diploma holder in Insurance or Law with 2 years' relevant experience in claims management
Knowledge of general insurance, medical terms will be a definite advantage
Able to work independently as well as in a team under pressure
Possess good initiative, interpersonal and communication skills
Effective Bilingual / Strong written skills required
Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) certification is desirable
