As part of the development team, the analyst programmer will have close liaison with other analysts, programmers and testers. Good communications skills are essential in this role, as the analyst programmer must have the ability to communicate technically complex issues to non-technical staff effectively.
The ideal candidate would have:
--A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT discipline
--Practical experience of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum Teams
--Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience of UML and the use of used cases in the analysis process.
--Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML and web application programming gained in a professional work environment
--Working experience with ColdFusion will be an added advantage, although training will be available for candidates with significant experience in an equivalent web programming language.
