The Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for:
Managing the Company's technology infrastructure
Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing business systems
Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies, and services
The Group provides each major business in the Company with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.
The Compnay is currently seeking an Application Support Analyst to join the Account team which supports the Company's Securities Group in Asia. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
providing day-to-day administration and support services to accounting and operations departments;
assisting Development Team to implement changes to the Production servers; and
preparing application reports using Business Object and SQR.
You will have proven experience in application support and will be willing to work on rotating shifts and public holidays. Also, you will have:
a practical knowledge of any of: Sybase/ C++ / Unix / Excel Macro/ Oasys/ WebMethod/ Fidessa
a positive working attitude, strong problem solving and teamwork skills; and
a degree or diploma (or the equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering.
You will be results oriented with strong communication skills and analytical skills. Knowledge in financial securities industry is preferable, but not essential. Graduates are welcome to apply.
