The Role:
The candidate will be required to:
-- Responsible for supporting all line of business
-- Expert in EDI tools and methods used by the company
-- Working directly with customers and define business requirements
-- Translate business requirements to functional specifications
-- Follow the standard development methodology
-- Perform all aspect of work in an IT development life cycle and follow best practice.
-- Work well with internal and offshore contractors
-- Work on both development and production support
-- Work with cross functional teams to solve business problems
-- Interface with different application and infrastructure groups
The Pre-Requisites:
-- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
-- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT life cycle and specialized in EDI area
-- Experience in business analysis and external system design or integration
-- An added advantage will be given to candidates from transportation industry
-- Knowledge of liner and logistics applications
-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-- Creative and customer-focused
-- Work independently as well as collaboratively with a variety of cross-functional teams
