Responsibilities:
- Underwrite profit of motor portfolio
- Business growth and market pricing of motor portfolio
- Development of underwriting guidelines
- Handling of day-to-day motor underwriting matters
- Project work and conduct training on products
Requirements:
- A good university degree with relevant insurance qualifications
- Minimum 5 years motor underwriting experience
- Working knowledge of market pricing
- Lead and supervise junior staff
-Experience in handling projects would bean advantage
2) Assistant Manager - Fund Settlement
(1 Position - Life Insurance)
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the head of finance department, the incumbent is expected to lead the financial reporting section within the department
- The team is responsible for regulatory, regional and internal reporting, which include MAS Returns, Regional and Internal Management Reporting, Annual Financial Statements and other regulatory surveys.
- Other responsibilities include maintenance of accounting system, handle taxation matters (including GST), assist corporate planning in expense budgeting and maintain financial reporting procedure and manuals
Requirements:
- CPA preferred / or possess a degree in Finance / Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably in life insurance or financial services sector
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards
- Have working knowledge of SUN Accounting System (not essential)
- Possess strong analytical, communication and supervisory skill
- Meticulous, quality conscious and ability to meet deadlines
- Team player
