Our client the largest bank in Singapore requires candidates with Core Banking experience (not necessarily Finacle or FlexCube). To be based in Singapore and some travel to Taiwan.
Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze business requirements and develop proposals with cost and schedule estimates
Design and develop solutions with relevant software technology to meet business requirements, in compliance with Bank’s application architecture and infrastructure standards
Develop and integrate solutions with 3rd party vendors where applicable
Develop business requirements into functional / technical specifications
Manage program design and development delivery in accordance with the specification to meet business requirements
Lead and manage offshore development teams (where applicable) to ensure smooth and quality delivery
Manage User Acceptance Testing and oversee end-to-end deployment of solutions to production
Manage and review software development lifecycle activities in compliance with Bank’s standard and CMMI processes
Participate in projects as It Lead to ensure smooth delivery of IT solutions
Provide production support, problem resolutions and application management services
Requirements:
Degree in IT or a related field
Minimum 3 years related experience in open system Retail & Corporate Core Banking System; experience with Finacle Core Banking system is a definite advantage
Core Banking domain knowledge essential - Deposits, Loans, Customer Information System, Payment & Bills, Wealth Management & Investment
Strong in analysis, solutioning and design of applications in the Banking and Finance industry
Familiar with technical system design in Unix, SQL and Oracle
Good leadership and management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good written and spoken English; Chinese speaking capability an advantage but not essential
