The candidate will be responsible to lead a team of IT technical resources in the area of resource management, strategic planning, project management, technologies evaluations, work plan processes, budget planning, cost control, management reporting, and problem resolutions.

Lead a team of IT technical resources to maximize the organization’s ROI from Financial IT systems and projects
Provide supervisory role in IT operational support services and project development

Oversee the development of projects to ensure that project targets are met

Ensure financial applications are implemented correctly, on-time, and within budget.
Interface with process owners and end-users to gather IT support needs.
Plan and manages projects and cost centre budget
Ensure appropriate and adequate staffing for projects and support including vendors and contractors
Develop roadmaps, short and long-term plans, to achieve continuous improvements in IT support service
Establish support strategy and processes required to successfully carry out daily business activities

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in IT
At least 15 years within IT industry, inclusive of7 years experience in managerial position and project management
Sound understanding of activities based on financial accounting, costing and recoveries

Excellent proficiency in IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices.
Solid understanding of SDLC and project management processes
Strong business process and analytical skills
Working knowledge of Walker or SAP application
Good understanding of shipping, logistics, and/or terminals business.
Strong leadership, project management, contract management, and vendor management skills
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
